Policies and Shipping

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using this website or making a purchase. By making a purchase on our website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms and policies listed below and acknowledge that we cannot be held responsible for misuse of our soaps or other products.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards through our payment processor. Because we are not privy to your information, we cannot be held responsible for any fees added to your card by your bank or company for transactions with us. We will process orders for shipment once full payment is received.

Special Orders

In addition to taking normal orders, we are happy to fulfill special orders for weddings, birthdays, holidays, or other events! We can design soaps in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes to meet your needs. As soap must cure for a minimum of four weeks, however, please contact us well in advance of the event in question.

We also sell soaps at wholesale prices on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at scentofthesunsoap@gmail.com with any inquiries, and we will respond as soon as possible.

Terms and Conditions

We make each of our soaps by hand. Every batch is different, and every individual soap is a unique creation. Because of this, every soap may differ slightly in color, shape, weight, or scent. For sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

All ingredients in our soaps are clearly labeled both on our website and on our individual soaps. We ask that you order responsibly should you have any allergies. We shall not be liable for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of soap usage.

It is important to note that our soaps should be kept out of reach of children or pets. For best results, store our soaps in a dry area free of drips (i.e. not underneath faucets or shower heads) when not in use.

However, if you feel that there has been a mistake on our behalf, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve your issue in a timely manner.

Shipping

We process orders within 24 hours of receipt and ship them within three business days. If an exceptional circumstance should delay our ability to fulfill your order, we will notify you via email.

We ship all of our items via USPS Priority Mail. This service provides for quick delivery in 1-3 business days from the initial date of shipping.

Please take care to enter full, accurate information for your address. We cannot be held responsible for items shipped to an incorrect address or for items that are deemed undeliverable because of partial information.

If you live in the Gallatin, Tennessee, area, we also allow free local pickup. If you would like to pick up your soap in-person, select the “Local Pickup” shipping option. We will then contact you before fulfilling your shipment with details on local pick-ups.
