Happy Mother's Day! Today we’re celebrating one half of our own mother-and-son team: Kay Brown. A soapmaker, artist, gardener, cat-lover, entrepreneur, mom, and mother of drago—er, soaps, she is many things—but always, first and foremost, an inspiration.
Kay started Scent of the Sun five years ago with a few small batches of soap at the Gallatin Farmers Market. Since then her vision has grown to include a co-owner and soapmaker, numerous events, and countless experiences with the friends and family that are our customers and fellow vendors.
We wish her and each of the mothers in our lives—in-person and in memory—a wonderful holiday.
